36x24 Cannabis Posters: The Big Composite Prints and Where They Fit
The 36x24 posters are the big ones. Three feet wide, two feet tall. They are the prints people stop in front of in our living room, and they are the ones I get asked about most. Here is what is on each one, where a 36x24 fits in a room, and what to check before you order.
What a composite poster is
Every strain I paint gets its own canvas, 24 x 30 acrylic, the mature female flower and nothing else. A composite poster takes several of those paintings and puts them on one 36x24 sheet. So instead of one queen you get a lineup. The print is on thick matte paper, 10.3 mil, so it lies flat and does not go shiny under a lamp.
STRainbow
STRainbow is six strains in rainbow order: Gorilla Zkittlez, Wedding Glue, Super Lemon Haze, Girl Scout Cookie, Berry Diesel and Purple Haze. Red to purple, left to right. It is the one people search for by name, and it is the one I would start with if you only get one big print. It comes in 36x24, and in 18x12 if the wall is small.

PURPS, FIRE and Day & Night
These three are color families. PURPS is Purple Haze, Berry Diesel and Dream Factory, so it is purple from edge to edge. FIRE is Gorilla Zkittlez, Wedding Glue and Super Lemon Haze on a red, orange and yellow background. Day & Night is White Durban next to Black Afghan on a background that runs from cream to black, one pale flower and one dark one. If your room already has a color going on, one of these will match it. All three come in 36x24 or 18x12.
The 10 Strain and 20 Strains posters
If you want the roster, the 10 Strain poster puts ten of the paintings on one sheet, with White Durban, Dosidos and Black Afghan in there next to the six from STRainbow. The 20 Strains poster doubles it. These two only come in 36x24. Any smaller and the flowers get too small to read the frost. Up close you can pick out the hairs on each one. From across the room it reads like a grid of color, which is the point.

Where a 36x24 fits
A 36x24 wants a wall with some room. Over a couch or a bed is the classic spot. The rule I use is that the art should be about two thirds the width of whatever sits under it, so a 36 inch print looks right over a couch or a queen bed, and it looks lost over a nightstand. It also works over a dresser, at the end of a hallway, or behind a desk so it shows up on video calls. If the wall is narrow, go 18x12 on the posters that offer it, or look at the 18x24 single strain prints in the framed prints collection. Everything big lives in the large prints collection.
Frames: black, red oak or white
Each poster comes with no frame or in a black, red oak or white frame. Ours are all black. Black makes the colors on STRainbow and FIRE look louder, and it disappears on a dark wall. Red oak is the pick if the room has wood floors or wood furniture. White is for a white wall when you want the print to float. The framed version shows up ready to hang, which matters at this size, because finding a 36x24 frame at a store is its own errand.

What to check before you order
Check the size dropdown first, since a few of these come in two sizes and an 18x12 is a very different thing on a wall. Check the frame option second. Then plan on about two weeks. Every poster is printed when you order it, so production takes 3 to 7 days and US delivery is another 3 to 7 business days.
